Oshikiri is a loner who has bad memories of his childhood and his grandfather, a brilliant scientist. He returns to his grandfather's mansion to try to remember what really happened to him. He finds a portal to a parallel universe, which his grandfather had originally discovered. From this portal comes his doppelganger dressed in a cloak and gas mask, who kills his fellow students with an ancient axe.

数々の未解決事件の謎を解いてきた天才にして変人の警視庁キャリア・柴田は、古巣である捜査一課弐係に新係長として帰って来る。そこへ、磯山章子と名乗る女性が依頼に来る。章子の母・早苗は15年前に発生した第七神竜丸沈没事件の生存者で、事件で亡くなった霧島夫妻の遺族・七海から、小笠原諸島にある孤島・厄神島（やくじんしま）へ招待されたが、母を一人で行かせるのが不安なため警察に同行してほしいという。厄神島は磁石も狂ってしまうといういわくつきの場所で、物が次々に消えてゆくという伝説がある島だった。おりしも弐係に同様の招待状が届き、母に替わって島へ出発する章子に、柴田と彼女の相棒的存在である刑事・真山がついて行くことになる。

A soldier, swaddled in body armor, guards the border of his country. This is not an area of tension; nothing warlike happens here; all that comes from across the border over in the enemy land are radio waves carrying the speeches of its leader, Marehito played by Hideyo Amamoto (Yojimbo, Kamen Rider). The soldier's only duty is to monitor these speeches, and he is sick to the teeth of the dictator's raving. In his quarters is a female android, a 'comfort woman' issued him by the government. He lives quietly with his green-eyed ILYA Type 6, and is responsible for his desert border area. That is the whole of this soldier's life. One day a military official pays a call on his quarters. There has been a shuffle of personnel in the high echelons, and a slight change in policy has been made. The ILYA Type 6 is to be upgraded.

Nagai Go no Kowai Zone 2: Senki is a Japanese direct-to-video horror film released in 1990 by the Bandai Media Division. The organization Mighty Jack is formed to combat the criminal syndicate known as "Q", and are given a large array of advanced weapons, chief among them being a high-tech submarine. Harold Hatari is abducted by Q, and Mighty Jack is dispatched to rescue him. Hatari is interrogated and threatened with blinding lights, but the Mighty Jack crew rescue him in the nick of time. Later, Q is discovered to be using "hot ice" (water that remains solid at room temperature) to create weapons and a secret ocean base disguised as an iceberg (though it's not precisely clear how hot ice could be a major world threat). Q then attempts to take over the Mighty Jack sub.

深作欣二がスターウォーズブームの中製作した便乗映画。ストーリーは里見八犬伝に材を採っていたりと安直な部分もあるが、ビック・モローの起用、原寸大のリアベ号の建造など話題性は充分だった。『スター・ウォーズ』に比べ特撮の出来は見劣りはするものの、合成を使わずに戦闘機の追跡シーンを作り上げた点などが海外では高く評価された。 アンドロメダ星雲の惑星ジルーシアは皇帝ロクセイア12世の率いるガバナス帝国の侵略によって「惑星大要塞」へと改造されてしまっていた。ジルーシア人の大酋長キドは奇跡の救い手の勇者を求め、「聖なるリアベの実」8個を宇宙へと放ち、キドの孫娘エメラリーダと戦士のウロッコ2名に、実を追って勇者を迎えに行くように指示した。だがロクセイアはぬかりなく追撃の宇宙戦艦を発進させる。 リアベの実は、銀河系の地球連邦の植民惑星ミラゼリアで、軍に失望して辞職した元将軍のガルダ、宇宙暴走族の若者シローとアロン、チンピラのジャック、富豪令嬢のメイア5名の元に届く。 若者達は「宇宙ボタル」の採集中に難破したエメラリーダの宇宙船を見つけ、エメラリーダとウロッコを救い出すが、2人から使命を聞かされて戸惑う。ガルダは若者達の様子を見て、実を返却して参加を固辞してしまう。シロー等はメイアには内緒で、他の勇者を紹介すると嘘をつき、息子の嫁探しをしていた老婆にエメラリーダを売ってしまう。老婆とエメラリーダはその後ガバナスの追跡部隊に捕縛されてしまう。 メイアはシロー等の行動を知り大いに怒る。改心した若者達は協力してジルーシア救出の準備を開始する。メイアの宇宙艇をシロー・アロンの小型艇を搭載できるように改修し、ジルーシアへと向かう。その途中でリアベの実を持つガバナス人のハンスが加わる。ハンスはロクセイアに地位を簒奪された、ガバナスの本来の皇位継承者だった。 一方、ガバナスは地球の美しさに魅了され、地球連邦へと無条件降伏を迫る。 その混乱の最中、ガルダと合流したシローたち6名は、惑星要塞の破壊とエメラーリダ救出のため、ガバナスの要塞内へと侵入。残る2名の仲間も集い、8名はロクセイアとの対決に挑む。

Seijiro and Shizue meet in Niigata and fall in love. Seijiro has to go back to Tokyo soon after, and they promise each other to meet again a year later. However, Seijiro gets jailed for five years. Unable to find him, Shizue gets married to a yakuza boss who can help her family business.

Farmer Abare Goemon is confronted by brigand-like samurai. He raises an army of farmers to fight them and does so brilliantly. When Lord Asakura sees the success Goemon has achieved, he attempts to recruit him to fight in a conflict between Asakura and another clan. Goemon refuses, and Lord Asakura sets out to destroy him.

In comic Woody Allen's film debut, he took the Japanese action film "International Secret Police: Key of Keys" and re-dubbed it, changing the plot to make it revolve around a secret egg salad recipe.

物語始めの舞台は、甲州と江戸。御嶽山奉納の剣術試合で、宇津木文之丞との勝負をゆずらなかった机竜之助は、文之丞の妻だったお浜と夫婦になる。大菩薩峠で、机竜之助に斬られた老人の孫のお松は、七兵衛の世話で厄介になった生け花の師匠のところから、神尾主膳の屋敷へ奉公にあがる。竜之助が組する江戸の浪士組（新徴組の前身）では、近藤勇と芹沢鴨が頭角を顕す。舞台の後半は、清河八郎の暗殺以後、新徴組が新撰組へ、江戸から京都へ移っていく。大菩薩峠と御嶽山奉納試合からの因縁、近藤勇や芹沢鴨の新徴組に身を置いた流れに、文久3年、机竜之助の音無しの剣術は、その在り方が求められていく。

Before leaving prison, Oida uncomfortably enters into an agreement with his cell mate: in exchange for a half-share of 30,000,000 yen, he is to assassinate three strangers given to him on a list. However, upon meeting his first potential victim, Oida has second thoughts. Yet, even as he tries to back out, the body count starts climbing. Oida must now try to alert the people on his list of their impending danger, and find out why they are being targeted in the first place.

Kokusai himitsu keisatsu: Kagi no kagi is the fourth instalment of five films in the "Kokusai himitsu keisatsu" series. The film is a parody of James Bond-style spy movies, and was used by Woody Allen, along with footage from the third instalment, in one of his first films, "What's Up, Tiger Lily?", in which the original dialogue is redubbed in English to make the plot about a secret egg salad recipe.

Charged with insubordination for punching a superior, Sergeant Kosugi is shipped to China in the last desperate days of the Second World War. His commander, Captain Sakuma, is vicious and dictatorial. Sakuma places Kosugi in charge of training for combat what once was the military band. An adventurous and daring sailor sets sail to the castle of an ailing king to stop an evil premier, hungry for power and wealth, from succeeding the throne and marrying the king's beautiful daughter. The story tells of a group of samurai who were left leaderless (becoming ronin) after their daimyo (feudal lord) was forced to commit seppuku (ritual suicide) for assaulting a court official named Kira Yoshinaka, whose title was Kōzuke no suke. The ronin avenged their master's honor after patiently waiting and planning for over a year to kill Kira. In turn, the ronin were themselves forced to commit seppuku for committing the crime of murder.

Romantic melodrama set in contemporary Hong Kong, Japan and Laos. Hiroshi Tanaka (Takarada) is a Japanese journalist on assignment in Hong Kong who meets and falls in love with Wu Li Hung (Ming). He proposes to Wu Li but she rejects him because of her distaste for mixed marriages (her mother was Japanese but deserted her family and returned to Japan during WWII). Tanaka locates Wu Li’s mother and unsuccessfully tries to reunite them, but eventually Wu Li accepts his proposal. A joyous Tanaka flies off to Laos to finish an assignment but on the eve of his wedding he is killed there.

Chuji Kunisada returns to his home village to find that Jubei Matsui, the corrupt magistrate, has been responsible for virtually destroying Kunisada's family. A final tragedy leads Kunisada to join with a band of rogues living in the forest in robbing from the rich and giving to the poor, always with an eye toward avenging himself on Magistrate Matsui.

Japanese police detective Saburo Fujioka is suspected of corruption, demoted, and sent to the city of Kojin. Kojin is the scene of fierce fighting between rival gangs. Fujioka is assigned to investigate the death of the wife of gangster Tetsuo Maruyama of the Kozuka gang, probably at the hands of one of the Oka gang. During a gang gunfight, Maruyama is rescued by Detective Fujioka and the two become friends. But Maruyama insists on avenging his wife's murder, even if it means conflict with his new friend.

Otomo plots to have the Prince sent into even greater danger, but Otomo is unaware that the gods have favored the Prince and the outcome is far from what any of them expected.

Ryuta and Mineo Komatsu are brothers, both yakuza (gangsters). Mineo, although complicit in crime, even murder, wants out of the gangster life, hoping to become a successful singer instead. Ryuta loves his brother, but Mineo's possible defection presents problems for the gang, and Ryuta realizes he must kill his brother if he wants to survive.

Shokichi, the owner of the clothing store, lives with his daughter Hideko and plans to open an art gallery. One day, Hideko led a handsome art student, Shohei and a poor painter, Sohei. Sohei’s painting was praised by a great printer at the completion ceremony of the art gallery. Since he became successful as a painter, but he looked quite indifferent. Around the same time, Shohei’s sister brought Sohei’s pictures to the gallery and Shokichi noticed that she was a daughter of his first love.
