幼い頃に母を亡くした王女スノーホワイト。国中から愛される姫君だった彼女だが、父王が魔女ラヴェンナに惑わされ、新たな妃に迎えたことから運命が一変する。ラヴェンナは王を殺害して国を奪い、スノーホワイトを塔に幽閉してしまったのだ。やがて永遠の美と若さを得るため、成長した姫の心臓を奪おうとする魔女だったが、姫は間一髪で脱走、黒い森へ逃れる。魔女は森を熟知するハンター、エリックに姫の捕獲を命じる。
