1945年8月、樺太に暮らす女性てつは迫るソ連軍から逃れ、樺太に残る夫と再会を約束して息子たちを連れ網走に渡る。1971年。次男の修二郎はアメリカに渡って成功を収め、米国企業の日本支社長として帰国する。彼は15年ぶりにてつのもとを訪れるが、年老いた母親の姿にひとり暮らしが心もとなく思い、ふたたび母親と暮らすことを決意する。だが、てつは立派になった修二郎に迷惑を掛けたくないと網走に戻ろうとする。

妻子を顧みず仕事に打ち込んできた会社員の俊介は、妻との仲も修復が難しいほどに冷え切っていた。次第に息子や娘との関係もぎくしゃくし、一家は崩壊寸前に思えた。そんな中、同居する父親が認知症になり、俊介はそれまでバラバラだった家族を取り戻そうとある提案を持ち掛ける。

派遣業の会社で働く春海はある日、交通事故に遭って病院に入院する。そのとき、看護師の麗子が親身になって彼女を支え、2人の間には友情のようなものが芽生える。やがて退院の日を迎えた春海に麗子はルームシェアを提案し、2人は春海のマンションで一緒に暮らしだすように。麗子の優しさに感謝し、次第に信頼を寄せていく春海だったが、突然態度が変わった麗子に違和感を覚える。やがて春海の周囲で不可解な事件が発生していく。

江戸時代前期。安井算哲 の生まれた安井家は将軍に囲碁を教える名家であるものの、算哲自身は出世欲のない不器用な男だった。星の観測と算術の問いを解くことが好きで、あまりにも熱中しすぎて周囲が見えなくなることもしばしばだった。算哲は形ばかりの勝負となった囲碁に次第に疑問を抱き、真剣勝負の場に身を置きたいとの願いを持つようになる。そんな算哲を、将軍・徳川家綱の後見人である会津藩主・保科正之 は暦の誤りを正す任に抜擢する。800年にもおよび使われてきた中国・唐の時代の暦がずれてきたため新しい暦を作るというこの計画には、星や太陽の観測をもとに膨大な計算を必要とし、さらには本来なら朝廷の司る改暦に幕府が口を出すという朝廷の聖域への介入という問題をはらんでいた。算哲は師や友人、算哲を慕いやがて妻となったえん や、彼のよき理解者であった水戸光圀 らに支えられながら、この難関に誠実に取り組んでいく……。

夫がうつ病になったことをきっかけに、これまでの自分たちを見つめ直し、成長していく夫婦の姿を描いた細川貂々の同名コミックエッセイを映画化。監督は「三本木高校、馬術部」の佐々部清。出演は「オカンの嫁入り」の宮崎あおい、「武士の家計簿」の堺雅人、「冷たい熱帯魚」の吹越満、「ハードライフ　紫の青春・恋と喧嘩と特攻服」の津田寛治。

プロのチェロ奏者として東京の管弦楽団に職を得た小林大悟。しかし、ある日突然楽団が解散し、夢を諦め、妻の美香とともに田舎の山形県酒田市へ帰ることにする。 就職先を探していた大悟は、新聞で「旅のお手伝い」と書かれたNKエージェントの求人広告を見つける。てっきり旅行代理店の求人と思い込み「高給保障」や「実労時間僅か」などの条件にも惹かれた大悟は面接へと向かう。面接した社長は履歴書もろくに見ず「うちでどっぷり働ける？」の質問だけで即「採用」と告げ、名刺まで作らせる。大悟はその業務内容が納棺（＝No-Kan）と知り困惑するが、強引な社長に押し切られる形で就職することになる。しかし妻には「冠婚葬祭関係」としか言えず、結婚式場に就職したものと勘違いされてしまう。

In 1923, teenager Kim Shun-Pei moves from Cheju Island, in South Korea, to Osaka, in Japan. Along the years, he becomes a cruel, greedy and violent man and builds a factory of kamaboko, processed seafood products, in his poor Korean-Japanese community exploiting his employees.

平安時代、都に鬼が現れては人の身体の一部を食らう事件が相次ぐ中、安倍晴明（野村萬斎）は藤原安麻呂（伊武雅刀）の娘・日美子（深田恭子）が毎夜夢遊病のようにさまよい歩くことと、鬼の事件との関係性を調べることに。一方、その頃都では幻角（中井貴一）という男が次々と奇跡を起こし、人々から神のように崇められていた。

慶応四年一月。鳥羽・伏見の戦いの大勢は決し、幕軍は潰走を始めていた。そんな中、大坂の盛岡藩蔵屋敷に満身創痍の侍が紛れ込む。かつて盛岡藩を脱藩し、新選組の隊士となった吉村貫一郎であった。保護を求める吉村に対し、蔵屋敷差配役であり吉村の旧友であった大野次郎右衛門は冷酷にも彼に切腹を命じる。 時は流れ、大正4年。北海道出身の記者が、吉村を知る人々から聞き取り調査を行っていた。

ハナワカズイチは銃砲刀剣類等不法所持、火薬類取締法違反で懲役3年の刑を受ける。晩秋の日高刑務所で受刑者番号222番を与えられ、刑務所生活が始まった。ハナワはそれぞれひとクセもふたクセもある4人の受刑者たちと同房。ハナワを含めた彼ら5人は次第に奇妙な連帯感で結ばれていく。ハナワにとって刑務所内での暮らしは予想に反して平穏で居心地の良いものだった。厳しく、一見風変わりな規律はたくさんあるが、暴力などは一切なく、テレビも見れて雑誌も読める。刑務所の中では、そんな穏やかな毎日が日々繰り返されていた。

The story opens with Yukiko and her business partner in Moscow searching for Russian items for their store in Tokyo. There they meet a Russian translator, Nicholai, played by Sergei Nakariakov - a trumpeter from Russia. Some months later after they have returned, Nicholai and Yukiko meet again while he is auditioning for the Tokyo orchestra where seeds of romance begin. Yukiko's father, however, is diagnosed with a terminal case of cancer. Yukiko returns home to be with him in his final months as he decides not to go through therapy and let the disease run its course. Coming into contact with a childhood friend while at home Yukiko is left to choose between her old friend and Nicholai, all while having to face the emotional struggle of dealing with her father's impending death.

In 1929 the fossil of a 500,000 year old man is discovered in China. In 1941 the Japanese army confiscates this find, but during the war the remains disappear. Based on these factual events, this movie takes off with a science fiction story involving a space rocket which places a satellite in orbit containing a secret cargo. The satellite crashes on a remote island and footprints are found in the sand leading away from the crash site. A story of how an ancient primitive cave-dwelling family contends with the scientists who want to study them.

Chunba and Kotetsu, grows up in the working class neighborhood of Kishiwada in Osaka in the mid-seventies. Their life in school is a never-ending series of fights and reprisals against rival gangs landing them in trouble with organised crime and in the juvenile court.

Straight-laced, honest Japanese travel agent Misuzu gets a job as a tour guide so that she can the world. On her first assignment in Bangkok, Thailand she does her best for her ungrateful charges, but gets fired when the hotel (through no fault of her own) misplaces all their passports. She also finds herself the victim of a scam by two Japanese con-artists (innocent-looking Tondabayashi and half-Thai Thuy) living in Bangkok. When the hotel finds the passports, she decides to buck the system and sell them on the black market. She teams up with the two con-artists to scam, rip off and rob all the Japanese tourists in Bangkok. They keep trying to pull off bigger and bigger jobs, and end up in trouble with two dumb, sightseeing yakuza, among others. Also, a love triangle forms as Tondabayashi falls for Misuzu, and Misuzu falls for the older Thuy.

Hikaru, an ordinary man, discovers a way to unleash the supernatural powers hidden inside his soul, allowing him to cure others with his newfound “ki” healing power.

In the last days of the Tokugawa shogunate, there was a cute warrior, Souji Okita, who belonged to the armed police of the shogunate in Kyoto. Very few knew that Souji was not a boy, but a woman. Souji loved the vice-leader of the armed police, Toshizou Hijikata. Souji suffered from pulmonary tuberculosis and coughed up blood during a battle. Toshizou helped her but said that he did not care for the girl with a smell of blood. Souji had a real talent for swordsmanship and no one but Ryouma Sakamoto could compete with her. Ryouma was a liberal intellectual and tried to carry out a revolution without blood. However, the bloody Meiji Restoration broke out and Souji killed Ryouma who lost his dream. Because a friendship had sprung up between Toshizou and Ryouma, Toshizou got angry and slashed at Souji with a sword. Unwillingly, she unsheathed her sword and thought that she might get love if she was killed by the man she loved.

A former safe-breaker, a former yakuza , and another young "Toshiro" Ryo (Aikawa) are planning to attack a casino run by a large organization. The three get a lot of money , but Ryo betrays his companions because he wants a runaway fund with the mistress of the group leader .

Barbara plans to help her escape from this hell. Aiko has been sent to Mihama. Without even thinking for a moment, Barbara decided to go see her friend.

While trying to search for her missing father, Atsuko Moriya (Noriko Watanabe) meets a group of outcasts that help her. Having only an encrypted disk in her possession and while being chased by unknown people, Atsuko tries to solve the mystery of her family origins...

Zatoichi is forced to kill a young man who owes a debt to a yakuza boss. Moments later, his sister Osode arrives with the money she earned (prostituting herself) to pay his debts. The bosses true motives are revealed and he attempts to steal Osode even though the debt is paid. Zatoichi realizes his grievous error and protects the girl from the gang. Osode and Zatoichi are caught in a dilemma as she must rely on her brother's killer for protection and Zatoichi wrestles with the injustice he has caused.
