10년 전 논란의 연극 ≪불면증≫ 이후 사라졌던 무대연출가 ‘알마’. 젊은 여배우 ‘비앙카’는 그녀의 새 연극 주연을 맡아 무대가 될 어느 버려진 정신병원으로 향한다. 그녀는 108시간동안 잠들지 않고 각성 상태가 되어 완벽히 캐릭터에 몰입하라는 ‘알마’의 지시에 따르지만, 깨어있는 시간이 길어질수록 환각과 환청을 경험하고 조금씩 다른 세계로 끌려가는 것을 느낀다. 현실과 악몽 사이에 갇혀 미스터리한 존재에게 쫓기게 된 ‘비앙카’는 이 끔찍한 곳을 탈출할 수 있을까?
