때는 에도시대, 질풍류의 닌자 요노스케, 나미, 코타로, 신뢰류의 잇카쿠, 잇가 앞에 "우라 칠본창"의 오이란다, 아운자가 나타나, 신뢰류의 두 사람이 호위하는 테루히메가 습격당한다. 테루히메가 가지고 있던 세계를 멸망시킨다는 "천상석"을 노리고 있었던 것이다. 잇카쿠, 잇가 로는 전혀 버티지 못하고 끝나는가 싶던 순간 미래에서 타임슬립해 온 허리케인저와 고우라이저들이 갑자기 나타나 격투를 벌인다.

A treasure appears in front of antique dealer Norio Koike (Kiichi Nakai) and potter Sasuke (Kuranosuke Sasaki). The treasure is Hideyoshi Toyotomi’s chawan (procelain tea bowl) called Houou, that has been missing.

일본 최고의 테크닉을 선보이는 Studio4℃의 <지니어스 파티>에 이은 후속 작품이다. 2D 셀 애니메이션으로 5편의 단편이 옴니버스로 구성되었다. 마에다 마사히로 감독의 <갈라>는 전통적인 ‘모노노케 공주’ 이야기를 기본으로 하여 이를 재해석했으며, 나카자와 카즈토 감독의 <문 드라이브>는 보물지도를 두고 벌어지는 만화 스타일의 애니메이션이다. 이외데도 오오히라 신야의 <강아지 완와>, 타나카 타츠유키의 <토진 키트>, 모리모토 코지의 <디멘션 밤>으로 구성되어 있다.

2대의 거인이 난동을 부린다는 이야기를 들은 아바레인저. 출동하여 확인하니, 두 거인은 허리케인저의 로봇인 선풍신과 굉뢰신이었다. 에볼리언과 손을 잡은 자칸자의 생존자 프라비 죠와 웬디누가 로봇을 빼앗았기 때문이다. 어렵게 두 로봇을 격퇴한 아바레인저. 하지만 프라비 죠와 웬디누가 사닌 이가의 봉인을 풀어버리고 만다. 이가와 아바레인저의 싸움에 뒤늦게 허리케인저가 참가하며 싸움은 더욱 거세진다.

Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger vs. Gaoranger is the team-up movie between Ninpuu Sentai Hurricaneger and Hyakujuu Sentai Gaoranger. This can easily fit in between after Sixth Spear, Satarakura and Shurikenger's introduction and before Third Spear, Manmaruba's original death and Super Karakuri Beast Revolver Mammoth's introduction. The only continuity error is the appearance of Manmaruba's motorcycle since his later clone was the one who used it in the series.
