루팡 3세 EPISODE 0 - 퍼스트 콘텍트 (2002)

재산을 노리고 구혼을 한 비행사인 킹 웨슬리와 결혼하고자 하는 엘리를 아버지 알렉산더가 반대하고 요트에 가둬 두자 엘리는 헤엄을 쳐 해안으로 도망쳐나와 뉴욕으로 가는 그레이하운드 버스에 오른다. 그 버스에는 근무 중에 술을 마셔 해고당한 신문 기자 피터가 맨 뒷 좌석에 자리잡고 있는데, 엘리는 피터와 맨 뒤의 좌석에 나란히 앉게 된다. 여행 도중 엘리가 소지품이 든 가방을 잃어버렸음에도 신고하기를 거부하자 피터는 엘리의 신분에 대해 의심을 하게 된다. 그레이하운드로 계속되는 여행 다음날 둘은 잠시 쉰 휴게실에서 느긋하게 아침 식사를 하다가 엘리와 피터는 버스를 놓치게 되고, 피터는 엘리의 신분을 알게 된다. 엘리는 피터에게 뉴욕에 도착하도록 도와주면 자신에 대한 특종 기사를 쓰게 해 주겠다며 거래를 제안하지만 부잣집 딸이나 부를 탐내 결혼하려는 킹 웨슬리 같은 사람한테 전혀 관심이 없다면서 퉁명스럽게 이 제안을 거절한다.하지만 북쪽 으로 향하는 여행에서 몇 가지 우연찮은 사고가 일어나게 되고 피터와 엘리는 여러 곤경에 같이 빠지게 되는데...

워싱턴포스트지의 정치부 기자 존은 명석한 두뇌와 특유의 직감으로 종횡무진 사건을 추적하는 촉망받는 기자다. 부와 명성 그리고 사랑스런 아내까지 모든 것을 다 가진 존은 스스로 행복한 남자라고 생각한다. 그러던 어느 날 함께 새집을 마련하러 다니던 아내가 의문의 자동차 사고로 죽게 된다. 실의에 빠진 존은 우연히 그녀가 죽기 직전 한 말을 떠올리게 된다. " 존은 아내가 남긴 이 한마디를 떨치지 못하고 그녀의 유품을 정리하던 존은 병원에서 혼수상태이던 그녀가 그린 이상한 그림을 발견한다. 나방모양의 형상을 한 귀신같은 것을 그려놓은 그녀의 스케치북을 본 존은 혼란에 빠진다. 그리고 2년 후, 존은 아내의 죽음, 이상한 그림과 관련한 사건과 다시 만나게 된다.

우주의 바운티 헌터들과 함께 우주로 떠났던 찰리(돈 오퍼 분)는 지구에선 별볼일 없던 때와는 달리 우주 괴물 사냥에 맹활약을 하고 있다. 이때 다시 지구에 크리터의 생존이 확인되자 다시 임무를 받고 지구로 향한다. 한편, 2년전 무시 무시한 크리터의 기습을 퇴치한 후 마을을 떠났던 소년 브래드 브라운(스콧 그림스 분)이 고향 글로버스 벤드에 잠시 돌아온다. 폐허가 된 농장에 얼룩덜룩한 가죽빛 알들이 부화하기 시작하고, 알에서 튀어나온 괴물 크리터스는 다시 인간들을 습격해 온다. 마을 보안관의 옷 속으로 들어가고 난 후 조금 있다가 그는 온몸이 피로 범벅이 된 채 죽어간다. 또 잡화상 퀴들리는 자기의 애견이 크리터스에게 잡혀먹는 광경을 직접 목격해야만 한다. 모든 것을 먹이로 보는 크리터스들의 습격으로 한마을이 일시에 수라장이 되는 것이다. 플레이 보이지의 요염한 걸로 변한 우그(테렌스 만 분)의 파트너 리도 괴물에게 죽음을 당하자, 위기에 빠진 마을 사람들을 구하기 위해 브래드는 묘안을 생각해 낸다. 크리터들을 햄버거 공장으로 유인하여 폭발시키는 것. 하지만 모두 퇴치했다고 생각한 크리터들이 둥글게 큰 공을 만들어 폭발 속을 빠져나와 마을 아이들이 있는 곳으로 향한다. 이때 찰리가 우주선을 몰아 크리터 무리 속으로 뛰어들어 마침내 위기에 빠진 아이들을 구해낸다.

미국의 3대 담배회사 브라운&윌리암슨에서 연구 개발부 책임자겸 부사장이었던 제프리 와이갠드 박사는 어느날 갑자기 회사에서 의사소통 능력 미달을 이유로 해고 당하고 만다. 판매량 증대를 위해 인체에 치명적인 암모니아 화합물질을 담배에 삽입하라는 회사의 계획에 반대했기 때문이다. CBS 시사 고발프로그램인 60분의 PD 로웰 버그만을 만나게 된 와이갠드 박사는 회사의 비리를 폭로하려 하지만, 담배회사는 와이갠드 박사와 그 가족의 생명을 위협하는 한편, 막대한 자본력으로 CBS의 운영진을 움직여 그의 입을 막으려고 한다.

Jacques Belin, presenter of a silly TV show, gets drunk after receiving an award and misses the train bringing his TV-soap-star fiancée. He meets up with Frède, just out of prison after a three year sentence and, in between numerous arguments and Jacques' break-up with his girlfriend, the two of them get drunker together, going across Paris in search of more alcohol and adventure.
