`촌놈`이라고 불리는 요드는 몽고 알바레즈 장군이 이끄는 혁명군이 접수한 산 베르난디노 마을에 도착하고 그곳에서 챠토라는 젊은 멕시코 용사와 친해진다. 챠토는 자신이 진정 멕시코를 위한 혁명을 벌이고 있다고 생각하지만 진짜 비폭력 반란군은 산토스 교수가 이끄는 혁명군이다. 요드는 산토스 교수가 감옥에 잡혀있다는 소식을 듣고 챠토와 함께 그를 구출해 주기로 한다. 하지만 요드의 진짜 목적은 따로 있는데...

남북전쟁 이후 감옥에서 풀려난 마이클 캘리포니아 랜덤은 미주리로 향한다. 그런데 그와 함께하던 파트너 윌리엄이 도적에게 죽임을 당하면서 캘리포니아는 그의 가족에게 유품을 돌려주고 무법자로부터 그들을 돕기로 결심한다.

제퍼슨 역에서 출발한 역마차 한 대가 길라 벤드라는 마을 근처를 지나던 중에 현상금 사냥꾼들에 의해 저지당한다. 이 현상금 사냥꾼들은 살인죄로 현상금 3천 달러가 걸린 필립 버미어라는 인물을 찾는 데 혈안이 돼 있다. 역마차에 타고 있던 전직 보안관 클레이튼은 숨어 있던 필립을 가장 먼저 찾아내 도주하도록 돕는다. 필립이 가는 곳마다 현상금 사냥꾼들이 들이닥치지만, 필립은 번번이 클레이튼의 도움을 받아 목적지인 색슨 시로 향한다. 필립은 자신이 죽인 걸로 판결이 난 색슨을 결단코 죽이지 않았으며, 단지 자신의 아버지를 살해한 범인에게 복수하고 싶을 뿐이라는 속내를 털어놓는다. 색슨 시로 가는 길에 클레이튼은 자신이 색슨 살인사건의 진범을 알고 있다고 주장한다. 하지만 색슨의 아들들은 오로지 필립을 제거하고 필립의 아버지가 찾은 은을 손에 넣는 데 혈안이 돼 있다. 진범은 따로 있다는 클레이튼과 필립의 주장은 받아들여지지 않고, 결국 색슨의 아들들과 클레이튼, 그리고 필립의 운명을 결정할 최후의 총격전이 벌어진다.

One of the most ambitious spaghetti westerns, The Forgotten Pistolero is a retelling of the Greek legend of Orestes, who avenges the murder of his father with the help of his friend and former mentor Pylades and his sister Electra. In Baldi’s movie, Orestes is called Sebastian, a man living on his own. One day a wounded stranger called Rafael/Pylades takes shelter in his house and tells him that he, Sebastian, is the son of a Mexican general who was murdered by his wife and her lover. Sebastian has no recollection of the massacre, but the tolling of the bells announcing the Ave Maria bring back fragmented memories. Finally Sebastian is re-united with his sister Isabella and together they avenge the murder of their father. The film is a bit confusing from time to time, with a storyline that seems over-complicated for a spaghetti western, but patient and attentive viewers are rewarded. The Forgotten Pistolero is also known for Roberto Pregadio’s awesome score.

In a disputed border town, the US Army waits for word from Washington as to the rightful country it belongs, while dealing with a rowdy pack of Mexican soldier/bandits. Into the mix rides seemingly mysterious stranger Anthony Steffan, who looks like a dandy but has a few deadly tricks up his sleeve.

He's subsequently sentenced to life in prison on the false belief he masterminded the ambush. Escaping from prison, Dexter sets about tracking down and exposing the true culprits.

텍사스 작은 어느 마을의 유지 스탱글은 자신의 아래 부하들을 시켜 은행강도를 계획한다. 그리고 은행을 터는데 성공한 강도들이 의기양양 할 사이도 없이 말수가 거의 없는 생전 들어보지도 못한 사바타 라는 한 인간이 마을에 불쑥 나타나서는 이 은행강도들을 죽이고 강탈당했던 돈을 찾아온다. 그리고 사바타는 마을 유지의 탈을 쓰고 뻔뻔하게 지내온 주모자 스탱글을 협박하기 시작한다. 스탱글은 사바타에게 돈을 주기보다는 차라리 없애기로 마음을 먹고 암살자 총잡이들을 고요하여 보내지만 차례로 죽은 시체로 당하게 된다. 그러다 교묘하게 개조한 라이플을 악기 벤조를 연주하면서 자신을 나타내지 않고 다니는 무법자 이름도 악랑 같은 벤조가 이 마을에 나타난다. 거의 사바타와 대등한 사격술을 갖춘 무법자 벤조는 암암리에 스탱글과 사바타 양쪽으로부터 힘을 견주어 보는데...
