Dragomir Bojanić, best known by his nickname Gidra, (13 June 1933 - 11 November 1993) was a famous Serbian actor. In several films he was credited as Anthony Ghidra. He appeared in many former Yugoslav films, and even some international production, usually playing villains. The best known of such roles is Kondor, German secret agent in popular 1972 film Valter brani Sarajevo. He is, however, best known for the comical role of family patriarch Žika Pavlović, which he played 12 times in Lude godine series of films. The topic of this routine, romantic drama is a little unusual - it concerns what some prisoners do when they are allowed out of jail for two weeks before their sentences are up. Rather than receiving some special dispensation, it turns out that in Yugoslavia this was the custom. Most of the time, the men here are engaged in pursuits that forward their relationships with the fairer sex, as might be expected after a long and lonely incarceration. There is nothing particularly profound about their two weeks of liberty, and no deep message in the tale.
SS Strike at Dawn
During the Battle of Sutjeska, headquarters one of the a partisan detachment, decides to enter deeper into the forest to save a few soldiers and wounded from inevitable death. Commander of the detachment, sent a group of fighters in the reconnaissance. As time goes on, the Germans are getting closer to discovering the detachment and wounded, hunger, exhaustion, forcing people to surrender, but at the time of surrender, and when the Germans discovered detachment, there is a sudden rescue from the group that was in the field reconnaissance.
