Marc Schrader, a rookie cop caught red-handed with drugs in a police raid of an illegal rave, joins a homicide investigation conducted by Chief Inspector Minks. The victim is a naked young woman with the skin stripped off her back, killed as she staggered into traffic. As Schrader and Minks investigate the murder, the case is complicated by a finger found in the stomach of the victim. Forensic examination proves the finger belongs to Nobert Günzel, who was previously convicted of rape and assault. The police raid Günzel’s residence, and discover a blood-stained table with restraints and bits of human flesh in his basement. They also find video equipment and preserved, tattooed skin from the victim’s back. Soon, they found dead bodies buried in the garden. Günzel then goes missing.

매력적인 화가 지망생 에무 오하라(줄리 콘드라 분)는 샌프란시스코의 한 휴양지에서 그림을 그리던 중 난데없는 처참한 살인 현장을 목격한다. 킬러인 프리맨(마크 다카스코스 분)은 자신의 희생자들을 보며 돌연히 눈물을 흘린다. 에무에게 자신을 요(Yo)라고 소개한 후 홀연히 사라지는 프리맨. 에무는 살인현장을 목격했으므로 그에게 죽어야 하는 운명이 된다. 희생자는 일본 야쿠자 보스 시마자키(마코 분)의 아들(케반 오스지 분)이었다. 시마자키는 킬러가 중국계 범죄 조직인 '용의 아들'에 소속된 프리맨임을 알고 니타 형사(체키 카요 분)에게 프리맨을 잡을 것을 명령한다. 한편 프리맨으로부터 뭔가 특별한 느낌을 받았던 에무는 시마자키가 두 눈에 눈물이 고인채 사망하자 킬러가 요임을 확신한다. 내심 그를 기다리던 에무는 킬러에 대해 추궁하는 니타 형사에게 아무 말도 않고 경찰의 보호마저 거부한다. 보스 자리를 놓고 야쿠자 파벌들의 권력 쟁탈전이 시작되고, 프리맨의 목이 보스 자리의 담보가 되면서 야쿠자들은 프리맨을 죽이려고 에무의 집으로 향한다. 텅 빈 집에서 에무는 자신을 죽이러 온 프리맨을 대면하나 피할 수 없는 운명적 사랑에 빠져드는데...

Freelance reporter “Scoop” Machida is hot on the trail of a prostitution ring called the Black Line, when he is framed for the murder of a young woman. Forced to clear his own name, the handsome journalist sinks deeper into the Black Line’s rotten swamp of drugs, prostitution, and murder and finds unexpected help in Maya, a steamy female gambler familiar with the neon-lit streets, shadowy alleyways, and seedy nightclubs he must navigate. The closest film in the Line series to classic American film noir, Ishii’s Black Line is a pulpy assortment of crime film conventions including the starkly expressionistic black and white cinematography by Jûgyô Yoshida, a jazzy music score by Michiaki Watanabe, and a sleazy screenplay by Ishii and Ichirô Miyagawa.

Follows the fluctuating fortunes of three ronin in feudal Japan who wander from castle to castle, selling their services to whichever lord will fill their rice bowls. Though they use the servants' entrance, they still feel themselves bound by the samurai code of Bushido; and this tension leads to tragedy.

‘Tattooed Life' begins with a parasol wielding Yakuza assassin attacking a rickshaw. It almost looks like feudal Japan until somebody pulls a gun and we're reminded that it's the 20th century. Post-shooting, the assassin delivers his bounty to his brother (to pay for his art school education) before getting ambushed in one of the few rickshaw-jacking incidents in film history, and being rescued by his art-student brother. In the aftermath, one brother is marked for death by the Yakuza, and the other brother won't go to art school with blood on his hands, so they decide the perfect way to deal with such hardships is to become fugitive construction workers in northern Japan . And why not?

In Los Angeles, naive and lonely waitress and aspirant singer Carol finds an advertisement for a job opportunity in Tokyo. Traveling to Japan to work at the White Orchid nightclub, she discovers the scheme of prostitution in the club that belongs to Yakuza. Alone, without money and her passport, she is protected by Shiro, but pressed by the managers Madame Mori and her husband Hatanaka to be receptive to client's proposals.

So I took a deeper look into them this time." He made this shocking movie with high enthusiasm and revealed the core of gangster's struggle which has never been touched before.

The next stage of this continuing drama is the Kanmon Channel where the Owada and the Kyoei groups are battling for territorial rights and drug smuggling. The Owada sends their man, Tetsu, and his friend Shuji to kill the Kyoei boss. With the promise of fame and riches, Shuji takes the fall and goes to jail for 7 years. But when he's released, he discovers that he and Tetsu have been all but forgotten by the Owada. Feeling betrayed, Shuji takes natters into his own hands and becomes an unsuspecting pawn in an internal conflict and an assassination attempt on the Owada boss. And now angered, Shuji seeks revenge...

Ryu, a low life thug, along with his mother, steals a shipment of drugs. Now with his machine gun and a gang of hoodlums, he must face the yakuza and the mafia.

A small yakuza gang is taken to war by a more powerful rival after a violent bar brawl involving members of both gangs. Young boss, Masaki, must decide whether to disband his dwindling gang or fight.

When Masaki find themselves at a bar owned by his friend Akemi and ponder the recent strange happenings. He later accepted a proposal from his old rival Hattori and join the Todo-gang. A member, Hazama, beeing jealous over Masakis high rank and starts planning ways to get rid of the newcomer from the gang.

Soma goes to Masakis allowed back to his former gang, led by Takeda who asked for his help since he had problems controlling their own men. But one fears how Somas former assistant Kokubu, now second in command of Takeda, should react. Soon Soma assassinated by three hired men, but one of them, Karasaki, who has just escaped an assassin is still possible to Masaki for help, explaining that Kokubu hired him. Masaki agrees to help him, but this also means that he exposes himself to danger.

A dark and strange comedy about a bank robber with bad luck. Bungling a bank robbery turns out to be a profitable mistake for Yamazaki, an amateur crook who ends up with 80 million yen after a string of improbable accidents. But having so much cash doesn't make his life is any easier. In fact, it gets much more complicated when Yamazaki stabs a hairdresser by mistake and instantly becomes a hunted fugitive. He's just one unlucky monkey but can he turn his luck around?

A bunch of young hipsters kidnaps a loving couple and keeps them trapped in a barren landscape. To the sounds of free jazz they are performing various experiments with the couple. In the distance is a yakuza gang keeping track of the youths. Who are really experimenting with whom?

In prison for 50 years after massacring his corrupt workmates with a samurai sword in 1945, Ginji Sonesaki (Riki Takeuchi) is given the nickname of Ginji the Slasher. On his release he finds himself on the streets living with the homeless hiding from a man whose life he tried to end. His former boss and the object of Ginji's hatred is now a highly-regarded figure in politics but Ginji plans to remind him of his past transgressions and make him pay for ruining his life.
