블랙 위도우: 파이널 챕터 (2019)

능력과 재력을 겸비한 변호사 헨리(로버트 다우니 주니어)는 부족한 것은 단 하나 ‘가족’이다. 부인과는 이혼 직전이고 그리고 하나뿐인 아버지와는 연락을 끊고 산지 오래다. 어느 날 어머니가 돌아가셨다는 연락을 받고 몇 십 년 만에 고향에 내려가지만 이미 아버지는 아버지라고 부를 수도 없을 정도로 어색하고 먼 사이다. 어머니의 장례식 후 비 내리던 그 날 밤 아버지는 차를 끌고 나간다. 그리고 다음날, 갑작스럽게 경찰이 찾아와 차 사고로 도로에서 죽은 사람의 살해용의자로 아버지를 붙잡아간다. 무죄를 입증하기 위해 고용한 마을 변호사의 무능함을 견디지 못한 헨리가 아버지의 변호를 맡게 되는데…

아들 마이크가 명예로운 군인이 되길 바랬던 퇴역 군인 행크 디어필드는 참전 후 귀환한 아들이 외출 후 부대로 돌아오지 않았다는 소식을 접한다. 아들이 귀국했다는 소식도 모르고 있던 헌병 수사관 출신 행크는 탈영 처리될 위기에 처한 아들에게 무슨 일이 있는지 알아보러 직접 군부대로 향한다. 단순한 마약관련 사건으로 아들의 실종을 처리하려는 군수사대를 의심한 행크는 지역 관할 형사인 에밀리 샌더스와 함께 직접 아들을 찾아 나선다. 전직 수사관 출신답게 집요하게 사건을 추적해 가던 중 아들 마이크와 전쟁에서 함께 했던 전우들을 만난 후 결국 그 곳에서 벌어졌던 일을 알게 되고 그럴수록 군 당국과 지역 경찰과의 갈등은 심해져 간다. 마침내 아들의 죽음의 실체를 알게 된 행크는 그 동안 조국에 충성했던 자신의 가치관에 혼란을 겪게 되고 결국 아들의 죽음 뒤에 숨겨진 미스터리를 풀기 위해 오랫동안 간직해온 신념을 버리지 않을 수 없게 된다.

Zawinul is onstage with the WDR Big Band from Germany and a special international rhythm section. The music is a tribute to the pioneering 1970s fusion collective Weather Report, originally with Wayne Shorter on sax, Zawinul on keys, and later Jaco Pastorius on bass (among other personnel). Zawinul and the WDR play "Brown Street" and "Carnavalito." Arranger Vince Mendoza re-imagines this colorful, small-group music for Europe's longest-lived jazz orchestra. And they can play!

In this respect Brahms was far ahead of his time – and this fact explains what half a century later Arnold Schoenberg regards him as “progressive” and was referring to him for his own compositional theory.

The series tells about a hundred years of Polish history from the point of view of women, the eponymous maids and widows. The action of the series begins in 1863 and ends in the early 1990s. The TV viewer follows the story of five ladies who came from a wealthy landowning family with a telling name - Lechickie.

When Guillaume Valmont dies in a car accident, the only thing he leaves his wife Isabelle is his pharmacy. She never loved her older husband and she regards his death as a deliverance. At the funeral, she meets Judith, widow too, and she soon realises that her husband had been leading a double life. A short while later, the pharmacy is broken into, but nothing is stolen. Police Inspector Laforêt is put in charge of the case. Isabelle becomes suspicious when Judith offers to buy the pharmacy.
