시놉시스
인기 모델 크리스 맥코믹은 여동생 캐시를 기르며 아파트에서 생활하고 있다. 여동생이 평소 흠모하던 젊은 연주자 고든의 방문을 받게 된 크리스는 그와 함께 테이프에서 흘러 나오는 기묘한 음향을 듣고 당황해 하던 중 고든으로부터 폭행을 당하게 된다. 크리스는 여성 변호사 카라를 내세워 소송을 제기했으나 법은 고든에게 무죄 판결을 내리고 만다. 크리스에게 남은 것은 증인 심문 때 당한 법정에서의 심한 수치감뿐, 다시 모델 활동을 하며 살아가는 크리스, 그러나 고든은 다시 크리스의 여동생 캐시까지도 폭행하게 되고 진상을 알게 된 크리스는 차를 타려고 나오는 고든에게 무차별하게 총탄 세례를 퍼붓는다. 다시 법정에선 크리스는 무죄선고를 받게 된다.
