성공적인 젊은 샐러리맨 카츠나기는 한 순간의 부주의함으로 인해 부모와 모든 것을 잃고 나락으로 떨어져 급기야 자살을 시도한다. 미지의 남자 요덴이 그의 목숨을 구하지만, 카츠나기는 어딘지 알 수 없는 곳에 사슬에 묶여 감금된 자신을 발견한다. 그리고 요덴은 카츠나기의 몸 이곳 저곳을 탐색하며 끊임없는 성적 고문을 자행한다. 영문도 모른 채 묶인 채 카츠나기는 점차 고통에 익숙해져 가는 자신을 발견하고, 두 사람의 기이한 관계 뒤에는 또 다른 비밀이 숨어 있었다.

Marie is a chubby girl who's steadily paying off her debts by working at a brothel introduced to her by a black-market lending company. One day, she meets a guy on the street by the name of Kazu. Taking an instant liking to him, she invites Kazu to come live with her. It soon becomes apparent that he doesn't seem to have a job and the allowance money he receives from her goes straight on playing around. In spite of this, he is always on hand to lend Marie an ear when she talks about her insecurities. Though Kazu is somewhat of a freeloader, she enjoys living with him but things take an unexpected turn when one of her regular clients suddenly proposes to her. Marie confides in Kazu by telling him what happened. After she wakes up next day, she discovers that he has disappeared. Several days later, she finds Kazu and accompanies him to his house. Waiting for them is Kazu's wife, Mitsuko, a beautifully slim lady and the mirror opposite of Marie.

The couple, Ichiro and Sonoko, are attacked by a human-sized Tsuchinoko in the mountains, and only Ichiro is taken away. Sonoko rescued by Tsuchinoko Hunter Kurikoma descends alone, but Ichiro's colleague Segawa cannot believe Sonoko's story. Eventually Sonoko goes to find the giant Tsuchinoko's den again to meet Ichiro.

This surrealistic comedy follows the life of Haruo Maekawa, a young man who makes a living catching squid. Haruo is obsessed with catching a legendary giant squid rumored to live in Tokyo Bay. Haruo's uncle Takashi, fallen on hard times, comes to stay with his nephew until he can get back on his feet. Uncle Takashi is addicted to energy drinks, and seduces any woman in sight, including Haruo's girlfriend Rika. While praying at a Shintō shrine, Uncle Takashi is bitten in the scrotum by a poisonous snake and dies. The uncle is destined to spend the afterlife in Hell unless his nephew and girlfriend can rescue him from the King of Hell.
