In this adaptation of an historical play by Pope John Paul II, painter Albert Chmielowski decides to devote his life to helping the homeless.

Forty-something Leon is an alcoholic, ex-special forces barely scraping by when he's hired by a mobster to protect his 16 year old daughter. Not only does Leon have to clean up his act, but also handle the romantic advances of his ward and the keen attention of his dangerous employers.

Daddy is the story of a divorced father fighting for the right to raise his 7-year-old daughter. When his marriage falls apart, he decides to kidnap his daughter rather than let the court award custody to his mentally ill wife, whom he deems unfit to raise their child. But as he quickly finds out, it's easier to be a real man than it is to be a real father.

Early 90's. The political and economic landscape of Poland, Russia and Germany is changing. Both good and bad sides of freedom are revealed. The mafia is becoming more and more bold, operating without obstacles across borders. One of the more lucrative "businesses" is the trade in luxury cars, stolen in Germany and transferred to Russia by Russia.

택시 기사인 자누시는 크리스마스 이브를 맞아 가족들과 함께 성탄 예배를 드리러 간다. 그런데 자누시는 예배당에서 몇 년 전 바람을 피웠던 상대인 에바를 만나고, 자누시에게 어떤 부탁을 한다.

외롭게 살고 있는 노년의 의사에게 이웃집의 도로타가 찾아온다. 도로타는 현재 병원에서 투병 중인 자신의 남편이 살아날 가능성이 얼마나 되는지 물어본다. 신중한 의사가 확답을 주저하자 도로타는 자신의 사연을 솔직히 털어놓는다.
