〈플라스틱의 모든 것〉은 넘쳐흐르는 독성물질로 위기를 맞이한 세계를 집중적으로 포착한다. 인류가 스스로 초래한 이 위기 상황은 다름 아닌 플라스틱에서 비롯되었다. 영화는 인상적인 장면과 독창적인 애니메이션, 기록 영상을 활용해 플라스틱의 생산과 소비가 불러온 참담한 결과를 짚으며 지구상의 모든 동물, 그리고 인류 문명의 삶과 건강을 위협하는 난제를 재조명한다.
