Durante os bombardeios da Segunda Guerra Mundial de Londres, quatro irmãos ingleses são enviados para uma casa de campo onde eles estarão seguros. Um dia, Lucy encontra um guarda-roupa que a transporta para um mundo mágico chamado Nárnia. Depois de voltar, ela logo volta a Nárnia com seus irmãos, Peter e Edmund, e sua irmã, Susan. Lá eles se juntam ao leão mágico, Aslan, na luta contra a Feiticeira Branca.

Em Caravana da Coragem, a família Towani, foi separada quando sua nave espacial caiu em Endor. Os pais, são logo capturados por um gigante conhecido como Gorax, e Mace e Cindel, o filho e a filha, estão desaparecidos. Quando os Ewoks, encontram as crianças Towani, nos destroços da nave, logo fica claro que será necessária confiança mútua para embarcar em uma aventura para resgatar os pais Towani.

Hans Christian Andersen's fairy tale is told here as a digital theater piece. The visual point of departure is fashioned by découpages created by Queen Margrethe II of Denmark, who is also the narrator. The découpages serve to establish the mood around the story of the children, Kaj and Gerda. They consist of a countless number of clippings, which are subsequently subjected to the processes of computer animation and mixed with graphics, live actors and music into an unique fairy tale universe.

Once he has the "cold heart" in his body, Peter eventually strikes a fortune and enjoys great wealth, but at the same time, he becomes a bitter and emotionless man – and, having lost all traces of humanity, even murders his wife Lisbeth. Only then does Peter Munk finally realize what has become of him, and he decides to regain his real heart from Holländer-Michel.
