O bem-educado policial Detetive Inspetor Harris considera a lei de sodomia nada mais do que um auxílio a chantagistas, e ajuda Farr em enfrentar o blefe de seu chantagista. O filme, muito à frente de seu tempo, termina com Farr e sua esposa chegando a um acordo com sua homossexualidade depois da exposição pública que ele enfrenta no julgamento do chantagista.
