Care Bears: Oopsy Does It! (2007)

Londres, 1862. O cientista James Glaisher (Eddie Redmayne) está prestes a realizar o grande sonho de sua vida, ao iniciar uma viagem de balão de forma a pesquisar formas de se prever a meteorologia. Sua companheira de viagem é Amelia Rennes (Felicity Jones), veterana do balonismo que topou o desafio após um grande trauma em sua viagem anterior, quando seu marido faleceu. Juntos, eles enfrentam uma aventura rumo ao céus na tentativa de chegar a uma altitude inédita até então a qualquer ser humano.

E a cegonha Peck, companheiro inseparável de Gus, é quem lida com a entrega desses filhotes. As criações de Gus são verdadeiras obras de arte, mas para Peck não são mais que um punhado de entregas. Á medida que as criações de Gus ficam mais “indisciplinadas”, o trabalho de Peck fica mais difícil. The cloud phenomena of Maloja are so well-known that some of them have names, such as the Maloja snake, a cloud bank that winds its way through the Alpine pass like a river. Clouds pass overhead, Fanck films them, just sufficiently to get the idea, among the crags of the Engadine, and gradually he connotes the wider scene, peopling the solitude and stillness below with a person or two, boating.

Do you know where clouds come from? They come from a mysterious place called “Land of Clouds”! A baby cloud that was born in the Land of Clouds run across Baikinman and Dokinchan. After meeting them, the baby gets the name Flurry and quickly grows while developing a bond with Dokinchan. One day, the Land of Clouds cannot float on the sky because of a strange stain. At the same time, Baigumora, the monster that created by Baikinman, is out of control! Can Anpanman protect the Land of Cloud?

Clouds 1969 by the British filmmaker Peter Gidal is a film comprised of ten minutes of looped footage of the sky, shot with a handheld camera using a zoom to achieve close-up images. Aside from the amorphous shapes of the clouds, the only forms to appear in the film are an aeroplane flying overhead and the side of a building, and these only as fleeting glimpses. The formless image of the sky and the repetition of the footage on a loop prevent any clear narrative development within the film. The minimal soundtrack consists of a sustained oscillating sine wave, consistently audible throughout the film without progression or climax. The work is shown as a projection and was not produced in an edition. The subject of the film can be said to be the material qualities of film itself: the grain, the light, the shadow and inconsistencies in the print.

Cloud Cult's "Unplug: The Film" is a distillation; twelve years of songwriting into seventy minutes of acoustic performance. What remains is a shared experience of honesty and vulnerability. The songs took collective shape around campfires at the band's recording studio in the woods of Wisconsin and took stage at the Southern Theater in Minneapolis where the concert footage was shot, along with interviews and behind the scenes footage. Co-produced by Jeff D. Johnson (Motion 117 Productions) and Craig Minowa, the film is product of an eight-year collaborative relationship- one that has worked to create a space in which band and audience sit side by side.

In 1927, meteorologist Masanao Abe (1891-1966) established the Abe Cloud Air Current Research Observatory on the heights of Gotemba in Shizuoka Prefecture. Until 1942, through his contributions to research magazines and publications, he worked on elucidating the formation process of clouds above Mount Fuji. He left a colossal archive representative of modern meteorology, including pictorial records of every kind-- this one an early success, artistically.
