Both died long ago, but they are Lola’s only strength to reach her end in a world that, otherwise, is very impersonal for her.

O Astrônomo Inglês Arthur Eddington foi um dos grandes responsáveis por espalhar a Teoria da Relatividade Geral de Einstein para o ocidente. Os primeiros artigos foram publicados na Alemanha em 1915, em meio aos conflitos da Primeira Guerra Mundial, e se não fosse pelo apoio de Eddington, e das expedições que organizou em 1919 para comprová-la, talvez muito tempo se passaria antes que a Relatividade Geral fosse finalmente aceita.
