Dismantling the home of some who is no longer here is an act of love, of memory, of mourning. July passed away recently; the camera moves around her apartment and is placed on a series of objects that act as keys to open the door to her intimacy. The voices of those who have loved her guide us while they try to prolong the farewell. In the memories they evoke, to some people July is still Julio, and those names and pronouns that blend reveal the difficulties of embracing one’s identity as a trans woman. During the journey, July’s figure is slowly brought to life, as in an invocation, called on through words, but mainly through her spaces, her things, her photographs, her wigs, her clothes, her favorite music. And a biography is weaved together, one which, like that mirror that still hangs on her wall, reflects the history of an entire community.

During a hot summer siesta in Entre Ríos, Malena terrifies her younger brother Santiago, with a legend in which children are watched over by pigeons and captured by a hideous monster if they don't nap. An anthropology student and her companion, a film student, want to direct a documentary about a community of hunter-gatherers in Argentina. The film follows Agustina as she finds the videotapes that her father Jaime recorded before the accident that took his life. The family secrets surrounding Jaime push Agustina to get involved. Her search will reveal a story marked by sexuality and political activism. Agustina discovers that her late father, previous to his marriage and family life, was involved with insurgent leftist groups during the era of the Argentinian military dictatorship, had a long term romantic relationship with another man and was a prominent member of the underground LGBT scene. She reconstructs her father's life through interviews with people that knew him and a treasure trove of family films to produce a moving portrait of a multi-faceted, fascinating and mysterious figure.

Agustín (32) returns to the city where he was born, after 6 years of absence, to watch the legal process in which he will be tried for the - supposedly - murder of his father and mother. Alone and in constant alert, he begins to experience acts of violence. Agobiado, he meets an enigmatic and unpredictable young woman who shows him other ways of experiencing isolation.
