In the forest near the village of Drahovice, a nurse from the local health center is found murdered. Three months ago, another young woman died nearby and a sexual motive was proved in the case of her murder. In the case of the nurse, the motives are not so clear. Two criminologists from Prague - Major Kalas (Rudolf Hrusínský) and Lieutenant Varga (Radoslav Brzobohatý) - patiently collect all available leads and question the villagers.

In this kingdom there is something wrong. The Queen is plagued by hypochondria, Karolínka is a spoiled princess and her mentor is sneaky and calculating.

Julie is a woman who seemingly has everything. A handsome husband, teenage daughter and a thriving, undemanding job as a translator and now even a new dream house ... But she also has a secret that is slowly changing her idyllic life...

A period musical comedy set in a quiet Prague quarter at the end of the fifties. Using the western plot device of the "man from nowhere" a generation gap story unfolds of changing social climate. The action is driven by the character of a young man named Baby who causes a local rebellion by bringing rock'n'roll to a Communist neighborhood raised on swing.

Два брата и сестра — Цирил, Бруно и Анета — рано остаются без родителей. Они живут в маленьком шахтерском городке, и все заботу о семье берет на себя старший брат. Прошло 25 лет. Цирил стал прокурором, сестра Анета — известная тележурналистка, Бруно живет с надоевшей ему женой и дочкой, связавшейся с панками. Бруно остается несколько месяцев. Eдинственное развлечение, которое отвлекает его от грустных мыслей, это общение в видеочате с красавицей Тали. Старший брат решает сделать Бруно прощальный подарок — поездку в пятизвездочный отель на горнолыжный курорт в Татрах. Бруно, Анета и Цирил, как в старые, добрые времена решают провести неделю вместе. Вот только Бруно не знает, что брат с сестрой подготовили ему еще один сюрприз — вместе с ними в путешествие отправляется та самая красавица Тали из видеочата. Брат-прокурор купил ее на все эти дни, чтобы она скрасила последние дни жизни Бруно.

Живущий с отцом 30-летний мужчина оказывается в жизненном тупике. Он бросает работу и заводит отношения с замужней женщиной. Все это выводит из себя его отца, и он предлагает продать старый сельский домик дедушки, чтобы сын мог купить собственное жильё. Приехав в деревню, молодой человек понимает, что этот заброшенный неухоженный сад - непростое и волшебное место, полное сюрпризов и загадок. Увлёкшись странными происшествиями в саду, он забывает о своих проблемах и уже не хочет возвращаться в город.

Based on the novel by Karel Capek, the prominent Czech writer of the early 20th century who coined the word robot for his play R.U.R., the story revolves around a discovery of Krakatit - a powerful explosive - by Prokop, an experimental scientist who, following an accidental explosion in his lab, slips in and out of delirium. When he realises that, in a delirious period, he has given the formula for making Krakatit to one of his colleagues, he tries to find the man, who does not realize how dangerous a thing Krakatit is. In the process, he nearly gives his discovery away again to foreign interests, a group of anarchists, and even greater forces of darkness...

Поиски не дают результатов, ведь «все порядочные мужчины уже давно женаты»… Поездка в горы на каникулы знакомит Вашика с начальником горной службы, с которым они быстро находят общий язык и удивительное взаимопонимание. Увидев однажды нового друга своего сына, мама Вашика внезапно меняется в лице.

In this movie, TV sets are full of life. If a person is in TV (e.g. because it was filmed on the street) it has a double that's right in the TV set. This double needs energy from the true character to survive. Each time, the real human watches TV, his Double will pull life energy from him. So there's a mysterious Death-serial. Many persons die in front of their TV set and nobody knows why. Olda, the main character, is one of the persons, that get more and more weak. He is near death, till Fisarek, the natural healer appears. He teaches Olda how he can resist this magic force and how he can fight it.

Продолжение фильма «Как вырвать зуб у кита». Герои те же. Но у Вашека появилась новая проблема. Мама и папа всё время ссорятся из-за того, что дух альпиниста не даёт отважному спасателю покоя. Приходится доказывать дедушке, который никак не хочет понимать, Вашек не просто сын чужой женщины, которого надо усыновить, а родное дитя его сына. Но, несмотря на все трудности и размолвки, героев ждал счастливый финал: мама снова беременна, а дедушка и внук, наконец договариваются, что «иногда дети появляются от того, что двое просто любят друг друга»…
