Со Ра, закончив школу в Корее, отправляется в Японию учиться кинорежиссуре вслед за юношей, который ей очень нравится. Приехав в незнакомую страну, она узнаёт, что юноша из-за семейных проблем уже давно вернулся назад в Корею. Обнаружив себя вдруг в абсолютном одиночестве, она начинает налаживать отношения с окружающими и с головой окунается в учёбу. Со Ра случайно знакомится с господином Мацумото - абсолютно рассеянным человеком, который всюду опаздывает, спит стоя и работает на трёх работах, чтобы расплатиться с долгами. Решив сделать именно его объектом съёмки своего первого фильма, девушка узнаёт, сколько всего простого и сложного, вызывающего слёзы и улыбку, скрывается в жизни обычного человека.
Producer
Mitsuko has a prestigious job as an editor at a publishing company, while her husband Tomatsu works as a freelance photographer, but he spends all of his time taking care of housework. One day, Mitsuko suspects Tomatsu is having an affair with Mayu, a model, and immediately throws him out. With no place to go, he moves in with Mayu, disrupting her affair with Nakazaki, who happens to work with Mitsuko.
A businessman, Tsuda, runs into a childhood friend, Tajuki, on the subway. Tajuki is working as a semiprofessional boxer. Tsuda soon begins to suspect that Tajuki might be having an affair with his fiancée Hizuru. After an altercation, Tsuda begins training rigorously himself, leading to an extremely bloody, violent confrontation.
Cinematography
20 minute music documentary shot in two days of November 1984 in, and around the outskirts of, Tokyo, Japan. A large part of the music was completed during that same month and recorded over a period of three days.
