Giovanni y Giacomo, después de tres años sin hablarse, viajan juntos en tren con la mujer causante de su enemistad. Viajan para ver al tercer amigo en discordia, Aldo, enfermo de gravedad. Los tres eran grandes amigos que preparaban representar una versión teatral de Cyrano de Bergerac. Grandes amigos que se ayudaban mtuamente en todo, incluído sus líos con las mujeres. Pero ellas también pueden romper grandes amistades...

While trying to prove their innocence, the trio explains the reasons for which they found themselves in such a strange situation.

Old and forgotten, comedian Aldo is brought by his sons into a nursing home called Reuma Park where he finds his old friends and partners Giovanni and Giacomo.

I corti ("shorts") by Aldo, Giovanni & Giacomo was the first stage show of the comedy trio, with the participation of Marina Massironi. It was recorded live at the Teatro Nuovo in Ferrara on 28 and 29 March 1996. Produced by Agidi, with the theatre direction of Arturo Brachetti.

Aldo cumple condena por fraude con tarjetas de crédito. Cuando es llevado al juzgado en el coche de policía, se encuentra con una pistola en la guantera y obliga al agente a cambiar el rumbo. Por el camino se encuentran a Giovanni, que detiene el vehículo para denunciar el robo de su coche ignorando la situación, y también es tomado como rehén por Aldo.
