On October 4, 2018, France celebrated the 60th anniversary of the Fifth Republic. It is a republic born in the throes of the Algerian War and one which—from the day it was founded by General de Gaulle until the presidency of a very Jupiterian Emmanuel Macron—has been assailed as a “Republican monarchy” by partisans of a more assertive parliamentarian state. By revisiting the struggle of those who dared oppose the new regime — only to suffer a crushing defeat on September 28, 1958, when they were barely able to garner 20% of the vote against the constitutional text — this film shines a powerful new light on the origins of the Fifth Republic and its consequences for the next 60 years. It is a constitutional debate that planted the seeds for a complete upheaval of the French political landscape, on the left in particular, and set the country in motion toward what would be called the Union of the Left.

An intimate window into one of the great movements in film history that brought about an evolution in the art of cinema. The documentary portrays the movement with insight on the lives and works of Jean-Luc Godard, François Truffaut and other principal players in the New Wave.

Alsatians had then in hand the future tools of interactive communication. What remains today of all those minitel years? Like a nocturnal and intimate road-movie, this documentary went to meet the last people who are still interested in the minitel, this strange beige box of access to telematic services, corny today, but pioneers at the end of the last century.

This is the unlikely story of 21 ministers and prime ministers who have crossed or are crossing the french Fifth Republic today. Twenty-one politicians who, from one day to the next, find themselves at the head of a ministry by the grace of a President of the Republic and his Prime Minister. The formation of the government, conflicts of attribution, reshuffles, rumours of appointments, evictions, casting errors: it is all the capricious backstage of the games of power examined here under the angle of confidence and which sheds light on the prestigious but unknown function of minister. An original and instructive political saga on the reality of those who hold or have held this prestigious position.

In May 1943, Ernst Kaltenbrunner, the new head of the Reich Central Security Office, gave Hitler a report describing in detail the organization of the French Resistance. Indeed, during the Second World War, most of the Resistance networks had been infiltrated by traitors, the "V Man" (trusted men) in the service of the occupier. The Germans had established treason as a system and recruiting Frenchmen ready to inform on them was one of their priorities. It was these Frenchmen, whose number is estimated at between 20,000 and 30,000, who dealt terrible blows to the Resistance.

Anna, a young journalist, is interested in a cottage in the Landes promoting it through strange advertisements on TikTok. Armed with her new camera and her journalistic experience, she decides to investigate and gradually discovers a multitude of disturbing elements, letting her imagine that people would be held hostage by a disturbed owner. Is this real or just a game?

May 10th, 1981. François Mitterrand is elected President of the Republic. The “soviet tanks” supposedly coming upon the Champs-Élysées dressed in red, feared by some, did not march. Serge Moati takes a personal look at this episode, focusing on the relationship the president had with television, that he witnessed and played a role in.

This reconstruction refers to a meeting that allegedly took place on 25 November 1804 at Fontainebleau between Pope Pius VII and Napoleon to discuss the coronation.

Un empresario conoce a una actriz que es amiga de una camarera, la cual conoce a un guardia de seguridad que trabaja con un chófer, al servicio de una decoradora, mujer de un empresario, que querría trabar amistad con artistas... Este film muestra cómo la diferencia de ambiente y educación hace imposible ciertas relaciones. Es la historia de unos personajes que no tendrían que haberse conocido porque las barreras culturales que los separan son insalvables.

Gran Bretaña, en un futuro indeterminado. Alex es un joven muy agresivo que tiene dos pasiones: la violencia desaforada y Beethoven. Jack Torrance se traslada, junto a su mujer y a su hijo, al impresionante hotel Overlook, en Colorado, para encargarse del mantenimiento del mismo durante la temporada invernal, en la que permanece cerrado y aislado por la nieve. Su idea es escribir su novela al tiempo que cuida de las instalaciones durante esos largos y solitarios meses de invierno, pero desde su llegada al hotel, Jack comienza a padecer inquietantes transtornos de personalidad, al mismo tiempo que en el lugar comienzan a suceder diversos fenómenos paranormales.

Jake Sully , un exmarine en silla de ruedas, es enviado al planeta Pandora, donde se ha creado el programa Avatar, gracias al cual los seres humanos pueden controlar de forma remota un cuerpo biológico con apariencia y genética de la especie nativa. Pronto se encontrará con la encrucijada entre seguir las órdenes de sus superiores o defender al mundo que le ha acogido y siente como suyo.
