妻子たちとともにリヨンで暮らすアレクサンドル。かつてまだ幼い自分に性的虐待を働いたプレナ神父が、再びこの地に戻って来たことを知った彼は、新たな犠牲者が出ないよう、神父のことを告発することを決意。教会に連絡を取り、神父の旧悪を洗いざらいぶちまけたアレクサンドルだったが、その後、事態は一向に改善されぬまま月日が過ぎていく。そんな中、やはり神父の性的虐待の被害に遭った人々の輪が、次第に広がるようになる。
