시놉시스
1943년 런던 전쟁이 치열한 배경 속에 하노버가에서 할로린과 마가렡이 조그만 사건을 계기로 만나 사랑에 빠진다. 비25폭격기 조종사인 할로린은 그녀과 다시 만날 수 있기를 애원한다. 마가렡은 남편과 딸 생각을 할 때마다 자책에 빠지나 할로린과의 밀회를 계속한다. 남편 폴은 아내의 마음에 변화 왔음을 알고 참고 기다리던 중 독일군 본부에 침투 중요 서류를 빼내는 임무를 띠고 조종사 할로린과 독일군을 가장 독일 본부에 잠입한다. 중요 서류를 입수했으나 독일군의 추적을 받아 위험한 순간에 폴은 마가렡의 사진을 할로린에게 보인다. 할로린은 총에 맞은 폴을 위기에서 구해 병원에 입원시킨다. 병원에 달려온 마가렡은 그동안의 전후 사정을 알게 된다.
