With this film I wanted to experiment with intercutting, superimposition and color. Similar to my previous short film "Vilja til å handle forhasta", I chose some footage from a recent trip as a basis. I created two different scenes using superimposition that the film intercuts between slowly increasing in speed before culminating into a harmonious relationship of color. Accompanying the visuals is a beautiful piece of classical music pitched up and down respectively for each shot before returning to it's full glory in the culmination sequence. As in my previous work, I once again returned to the idea of intermissions in short films again with allusions to other films. The final shot or act of the short film was conceived in the same spirit as the first act as it pictures one of my favorite spots during my trip.

홍콩의 어느 고풍적인 분위기로 장식되어 있는 사진관에 어둠이 밀려오고 하나 둘 거물들이 들어와 때아닌 도박판이 벌어진다. 도박판의 긴장된 분위기가 장내를 감싸고 도박의 황제인 주윤발의 천재적인 도박솜씨가 유감없이 발휘된다. 그러나, 우연한 실수로 도박의 황제인 주윤발은 강한 충격을 받고 기억상실증에 걸리게 된다. 여기에 유덕화가 친구인 주윤발을 헌신적으로 돌본다.

오호 시대, 중국 사천지방에 촉산이란 곳이 있었다. 그중 한 곳인 곤륜산으로 사파의 마황 유천이 침입하자 곤륜파의 장문인 고월은 자신의 제자 현천종에게 곤륜파의 병기인 월금륜을 넘기고 그를 피신시킨다. 그리고 자신은 유천과 싸우다 죽는다. 200년 후 유천은 더욱 강력한 모습으로 다시 나타나 이번에는 아미산을 공격한다. 아미파의 장문인 백미는 호천경을 이용해 유천을 막고 아미파의 제자인 단진자와 현천종이 여기에 합세한다. 그들은 유천을 마의 동굴 안으로 몰아넣는 데 성공하지만 곧 자신들이 유천의 계략에 넘어갔다는 사실을 알게 된다.

대학을 갓 졸업한 샘은 아버지가 운영하는 폭파해체 전문회사에서 첫 일을 맡게 된다. 그녀는 폭파해체 전에 건물을 조사하기 위해 한 아파트로 파견된다. 이 아파트는 15년 전 연쇄살인 사건이 발생한 건물로, 천재건축가 말레스트라자의 작품이다. 15년 전 찾아낸 시신들은 건물 벽에 시멘트로 봉인되어 있었고, 그들은 벽에 갇힐 당시 살아있었다. 산채로 매장된 것이다. 용의자는 실종되었고, 찾아낸 시신 중에 한 명이 말레스트라자로 추정되면서 사건은 종결되었다. 이 아파트에는 건물관리인 메리와 그녀의 아들 지미, 그리고 말레스트라자의 책을 보관하고 있는 할머니와 심장이 안 좋은 흑인등 단 4명만이 남아있었다. 샘은 그 건물을 조사하면서 환청과 환영을 경험한다. 이에 그녀는 말레스트라자에게 관심을 갖게 되고 두려움과 죽음이 건물의 수명을 연장하는 강력한 요소로 믿는 그의 괴이한 망상을 알게 된다
