The Homeless (1974)

야쿠자 조직의 중간 보스인 오자키는 최근 정신이 이상해졌다. 길에서 우연히 마주친 차나 애완견을 보고 야쿠자 공격용으로 만들어진 것이라고 주장하며, 주위를 불안하게 만든다. 마침내 조직의 보스는 오자키의 심복인 미나미에게 그를 죽이라고 명령한다. 오자키와 함께 나고야 부근을 여행하던 미나미. 어느 순간 오자키는 사라지고, 미나미에게는 온통 이상한 일들과 기인한 인간들이 그의 앞에 나타난다.

보스가 거액의 돈을 가지고 사라지자 중간보스인 카키하라는 그의 뒤를 쫓고, 그런 카키하라를 죽이기 위해 이치라는 킬러가 나선다. 키카하라는 새디즘과 메저키즘을 모두 가지고 있는 인물로 어린 시절의 기억 때문에 자폐적인 성향을 나타내며 불안정한 정서 상태를 가지고 있다. 그는 보스가 사라진 것과 관련이 있다고 생각되는 사람들은 모두 잡아들여 고문을 하는데...

As she develops into a master swordsman, her profession becomes that of a bounty hunter. Many test her sword and many die by her skills. She travels throughout the countryside to seek her mother and her revenge.

세 명의 말썽꾸러기 조조, 지쇼, 브루스는 동급생 데부나가에게 괴롭힘을 당하는 중이다. 그런데 어느 날 학교 주차장에서 데후나가가 야쿠자에게 유괴 당하는 현장을 목격한 뒤 데부나가를 구하기 위해 길을 나선다. 그리고 이 이상한 여행 과정에서 야쿠자, 부패 경찰, 선생님 등과 복잡한 관계에 놓인다.

One of the two remaining segments of Ito’s original four-hour trilogy, it depicts Chuji’s attempt to save the geisha Oshina, a rebellion against the rigid social structure of Edo Japan. With socialist overtones, it’s a passionate artifact of early Japanese film.
