폴란드 출신의 사무원인 트렐코프스키는 투신자살을 해 죽은 여자가 살았던 파리의 허름한 아파트에 입주를 한다. 별로 친절하지 않은 이웃과 트렐코프스키 사이에 충돌이 자주 일어나고 그는 자신이 느끼는 감정의 심각성을 인지하며 자신이 이로 인한 정신적 압박감으로 인해 자살을 하게 될지도 모른다고 믿게 되는데...

대학을 갓 졸업한 샘은 아버지가 운영하는 폭파해체 전문회사에서 첫 일을 맡게 된다. 그녀는 폭파해체 전에 건물을 조사하기 위해 한 아파트로 파견된다. 이 아파트는 15년 전 연쇄살인 사건이 발생한 건물로, 천재건축가 말레스트라자의 작품이다. 15년 전 찾아낸 시신들은 건물 벽에 시멘트로 봉인되어 있었고, 그들은 벽에 갇힐 당시 살아있었다. 산채로 매장된 것이다. 용의자는 실종되었고, 찾아낸 시신 중에 한 명이 말레스트라자로 추정되면서 사건은 종결되었다. 이 아파트에는 건물관리인 메리와 그녀의 아들 지미, 그리고 말레스트라자의 책을 보관하고 있는 할머니와 심장이 안 좋은 흑인등 단 4명만이 남아있었다. 샘은 그 건물을 조사하면서 환청과 환영을 경험한다. 이에 그녀는 말레스트라자에게 관심을 갖게 되고 두려움과 죽음이 건물의 수명을 연장하는 강력한 요소로 믿는 그의 괴이한 망상을 알게 된다

콜린(마이클 크로포드 분)은 바람둥이 톨렌(레이 브룩스 분)에게 방을 세준다. 그에게서 여자를 유혹하는 법을 배우기 위해서이다. 콜린은 톨렌의 침대를 사기 위해 톰(도날 도넬리 분)과 함께 시내로 나간다. 시내에서 그들은 YMCA를 찾고 있던 시골서 온 낸시(리타 투싱엄 분)를 만나 함께 콜린의 집으로 간다. 그곳에서 낸시는 톨렌을 만난다. 톨렌은 달콤한 말로 낸시를 유혹했으며, 이를 보고 있던 콜린은 질투를 한다. 그러던 중 낸시는 흥분하여 기절을 하고, 정신이 든 뒤에는 자기가 추행을 당했다고 소란을 피운다. 낸시는 범인으로 콜린을 지목한다.

안드레스는 소유자들의 대표로 돈이 아주 많고 욕심이 많은 사람이다. 자신이 가지고 있는 소유지의 임차인들을 내쫓기 위해 노력하는데 그 임차인들 중 카르멜로라 하는 임차인 대표 격이라 할 수 있는 자가 가장 문제였다. 그래서 브루토라고 하는 도살장에서 일을 하고 있는 힘이 아주 세고 강한 자를 시켜서 임차인 대표들을 제거하려고 하는데, 이 과정에서 미케의 아버지가 살인을 당한다. 미케는 이런 과정도 모르고, 브루토와의 관계가 점점 깊어 가는데, 파로마라는 안드레스 사장의 부인은 브루토의 남성적인 매력에 빠져들게 되고, 미케와의 관계를 질투한 그녀는 자신과의 있었던 일과, 브루토가 미케의 아버지를 죽였다는 사실을 미케에게 말하게 된다. 이 과정에서 브루토는 점점 다시 짐승의 본능을 나타내게 되고...

Stan and Ollie check into a seedy hotel and help a young girl escape the clutches of the landlord. They are forced to flee the hotel with no money and Ollie arranges for Stan to fight at a local boxing hall for $50. Stan's opponent turns out to be Musgy who uses a loaded glove. During the fight the glove is swapped and Stan triumphs only to find that Ollie has bet their fee that he would lose.

The landowner (Agha) of the Haraptar village marries off his old father with the young and beautiful Kiraz. But on the nuptial night, his father dies and everthing starts to go bad for the Agha. Due to the long drought and provocations of Kekec Salman (big brother of Kiraz), the peasants steal the crops and run away to Istanbul.
