Paul Bisciglia (30 July 1928 – 18 April 2010) was a French film actor.
Throughout his acting career, Bisciglia appeared in more than one-hundred feature films. He made his debut in the 1950 film Trois télégrammes. What followed was several uncredited roles, before landing a much larger part in drama Clara de Montargis. During the fifties, he appeared in many drama films, including the award-winning Avant le déluge, with Antoine Balpêtré, and again several more uncredited roles. During the sixties, Bisciglia began to appear more frequently in television series and television films, although he was included in many films such as The Wretches, with Michèle Morgan, Les vieux de la vieille, with Pierre Fresnay, Paris nous appartient, Le signe du lion, and in 1966, he appeared in his first leading role in Alain Cuniot's L'or et le plomb.
In 1969, Bisciglia had a small role in the horror film La vampire nue, the second feature film from director Jean Rollin. It was Bisciglia's first of several times working with Rollin. He worked with the director again in the successful films Requiem pour un vampire, with Marie-Pierre Castel and Mireille D'Argent, Les démoniaques, Lèvres de sang, and the zombie classic Les Raisins de la Mort, with Marie-Georges Pascal.
His career continued through the seventies and eighties, such as the Golden Globe-nominated Les aventures de Rabbi Jacob, Club privé pour couples avertis, with Philippe Gasté of Jean Rollin's Requiem pour un vampire, Verdict, with Sophia Loren, L'aile ou la cuisse, Family Rock, and he voiced in three animated films Astérix et la surprise de César (Asterix vs. Caesar), Astérix chez les Bretons (Asterix in Britain) and Astérix et le coup du menhir (Asterix and the Big Fight). Bisciglia's acting career continued until 1999, during which he appeared in two final feature films, Profil bas and Montana Blues.
Bisciglia also had a successful television career appearing in a number of television series and films. He made his first appearance in the 1957 television film L'équipage au complet. His television films include Elle s'abaisse pour vaincre, Les fiancés de Loches, Claudine à Paris and the television film remeke Les liaisons dangereuses. His television series credits include Le théâtre de la jeunesse, Rocambole, Les saintes chéries, Schulmeister, espion de l'empereur, Les brigades du Tigre, De mémoire d'homme, Les cinq dernières minutes, Désiré Lafarge, Commissaire Moulin, Les enquêtes du commissaire Maigret and Julien Fontanes, magistrat.

It is fruit-picking season in the plain and pickers come from all over and live in a camp for several weeks. The title of this French "reality" drama, which translates to Before the Deluge, is a play on Louis XVI's famous prognostication, "Apres moi, le deluge." Set in 1950, the film concentrates on five Parisian adolescents. Certain that the next war will herald the apocalypse, the youngster make plans to run off to a desert island and set up a new society. This, however, will require money, which is why the boys decide to pull off a "necessary" robbery. Idealism collapses in the face of cold reality, as the five youths suffer from the consequences of their actions. Avant le Deluge was one of a group of films cowritten by director Andre Cayatte and Charles Spaak which endeavored to explore the touchy social issues of the day: others in the Cayatte-Spaak canon include the euthanasia-themed Justice est Faite and the capital-punishment tract Nous sommes tous des assassins.

A French crew is working on location in Spain. The one that replaces him is Antonio, a local fisherman. The latter does the job so well that he is chosen as a stunts man for the whole film. This does not please Lola,his fiancée; all the more as Antonio has fallen in love with Martine, the female star.
Renaud, a young student who is camping alone at the moment, has a dream one night, in which the woman of his dreams appears. When he wakes up the next morning, he cannot believe his eyes: the creature of the dream is there by the side of the road, in the flesh! The woman accepts to drive Renaud to Montargis but it is only after she has dropped him off there that he realizes that what he experienced for her was love at first sight. He then decides not to return to Paris but to try and find the wonderful stranger in Montargis. He discovers that the woman's name is Clara and that she is the member of a drama company.

Back from a stay in the Far East, a woman who knew the names of the chiefs of a drug ring is murdered. Georges Masse, the famous reporter, decides to investigate, accompanied by his faithful photographer P'tit Louis. He will come across some unappetizing characters like M. Dubois, a killer, Luigi Costelli, a dangerous trafficker and a beautiful but dubious lady, Suzanne Wilson. After being himself suspected, Masse will make the truth triumph.

Story is primarily based on the adventures of Antoine, a young telegraph messenger on his second night of work. He is given three telegrams, one of which is for the president of the Camber of Deputies. Excited, Antoine runs his bicycle into a truck and loses the telegrams. What follows is an amusing and agonizing search for the missing messages. He is assisted first by a glum, wise-beyond-her-years little girl, Amelie; an off-duty police superintendent, a schoolmaster, a cookie-tin maker and a fireman. The harmonica musical theme is played by Flore Falvey.
