A causa de una depresión, Craig (Keir Gilchrist), un adolescente de 16 años, es ingresado en un centro psiquiátrico. Sissi se muestra hábil no sólo con los asuntos de estado, sino también con Sofía, su conflictiva suegra, que aprovecha cualquier ocasión para inventar falsos romances entre Sissi y el conde Andrassy con el objetivo de romper el matrimonio entre la emperatriz y su hijo. A las amenazas de Sofía hay que añadir la grave enfermedad pulmonar que Sissi contrae en Hungría y que la llevará a Grecia, donde tras un tiempo la joven mejora felizmente de su enfermedad.

Meanwhile, the Home Minister is kidnapped by Saifudeen's men. In the end, Balagopal kills Saifudeen and saves Home Minister and the babies. All the terrorists were captured or killed by the police.

As a mystery, several other characters come into light, including a party secretary portrayed by Thilakan and four policemen played by Siddique, Vijayaraghavan, Biju Menon and Ganesh Kumar.

The film revolves around Alexander Varma, who survives with his IQ, but fate has something else stored for him.

Three engineering students whose life takes a twist after meeting a mysterious man who teaches them the real meaning of life.

This problem creates obstacles in Goutham and Nithya's relationship and this forms the crux of the story.

The film opens with a ‘Manthravadi’ (Thilakan) an evil magician (Pithamagan Mahadevan) to obey to his commands and make spiriting away a friendly ghost money through crime. Meanwhile a group of kids and their benefactors are held hostage in a circus camp by the baddies, who has taken over the show. Ancy (Kaavyamadavan) is coming back from London, to take charge of the circus company founded by her father Philipose (Janardhanan),who was found murdered. On reaching there, she is told that her father was stabbed to death by a bike-jumper named Jimmy (Mammootty). In fact Jimmy, his foster father Krishnan (Innocent), aide Sisupalan (Suraj Venjarammood) and a gang of street children were all invited by Philipose to join his circus group. Meanwhile the ghost (Mammootty, in his other role) appears, becomes friendly with the kids and takes a more stylish shape of Jimmy. Thanks to the ghost, Ancy realizes that Jimmy was innocent in the whole issue. Now the battle between the good and evil.

Oru Naal Varum is a cat and mouse game where the life of a corrupt government official takes some intriguing topsy-turvy turns. With the magical combo of Mohanlal and Sreenivasan in action, there are times when the movie reminds us of some of their glorious years together, on screen

He lends money at very low interest-rates but makes it a point to get his money back on the date agreed upon. The story takes a turn when a bank, named Grand Bank opens up in the village, offering to give out loans at very low interest. The manager of the bank is a young lady named Jayalakshmi. She has made her entry into the village with a very definite purpose. All this, plus the very different kind of bonding between Gopalakrishna Pillai and his mother, form the plot, which develops towards a very interesting climax.
