시놉시스
의류 공장에서 일하는 ‘스탠’과 ‘라이언’ 형제는 주먹으로 밑바닥 인생에서 벗어나겠다는 꿈을 가지고 지하 세계의 맨손 복싱 경기에 나선다. 그러던 어느 날, 형제를 찾아 온 범죄 조직의 보스 ‘페퍼’. 그는 “당신은 나에게 빚을 졌고, 갚을 능력도 없지. 당신에게 기회를 주겠어. 10만 달러짜리 경기야”라고 말하며 ‘정글랜드’ 출전을 제안해 극의 몰입도를 높인다. 고민 끝에 ‘정글랜드’ 출전을 결심한 두 사람에게 ‘페퍼’는 “그녀를 이 주소로 데리고 가”라며 추가 미션을 제안, 뜻밖의 동행자로 등장한 여성에 대한 궁금증을 자아낸다. 이어지는 장면 속 ‘라이언’과 의문의 여성이 묘한 분위기를 형성하는 동시에 ‘스탠’은 누군가와 통화하며 “날 속였어”라고 외치고 있어 이들에게 생긴 일에 대한 궁금증을 자아낸다.
