シノプシス
群雄割拠の戦国時代が終わりを告げ、世を二分する徳川と豊臣の戦いもいよいよ終盤を迎えていた頃。剣を手にして戦場を駆け抜けるひとりの少女がいた。天下取りの夢に浮かされた大名たちによって、未だにくすぶり続ける戦乱の時代に終止符を打ち、世の中に平和をもたらす為に、少女の使命は皮肉にも徳川の刺客となって対抗する豊臣の大名たちの命を奪うこと。なぜ、闘い続けなくてはいけないのか。安堵の人生を生きる幸せは許されないのか。刃をふるうたび少女の心は震える。少女の名はあずみ......。
黒沼爽子は、陰気で見た目が暗く、長い黒髪から、周りからは「貞子」と呼ばれて恐れられ、クラスに全く馴染めないでいた。しかし、自身とは対照的な、爽やかで、学年で男女問わず人気者で、爽子の噂を全く気にしない、クラスメイトの風早翔太とまともに喋ったことをきっかけに、友情・恋愛・進路などを通して爽子は新たな発見をし、1歩1歩成長していく。
ジョーは組織も認める腕利きのルーパー（処刑人）。仕事は2074年から2044年に送られてくる標的を、指定された時間に指定された場所で待ち、殺して遺体を処分すること。新たな指令が入り、ジョーは約束の場所でいつものように銃を構えて待つが、目の前に現われたのは、自分に酷似した中年の男。驚愕と混乱で引き金を引くことをためらった現在のジョーの隙をつき、未来のジョーは逃走する。
