안젤라는 사진을 전공하는 학생으로 '영화에 나타난 폭력'이란 제목의 논문을 준비하고 있다. 지도교수는 비디오테크에서 폭력 영화테입을 찾아주기로 하고, 동료인 케마는 자신의 집에서 스너프 무비를 보여준다. 교수는 비디오테크에서 우연히 수백개의 비디오테입으로 채워진 미로를 발견하고 그중 하나를 가져온다. 다음날 아침 안젤라는 프로젝션 룸에서 그가 숨져있는 것을 발견하고, 무의식중에 테입을 집으로 가져간다. 살인현장에서 발견된 비디오 테입. 너무나 두려운 나머지 화면은 보지않고 소리만을 들어본 안젤라는 비디오 테입에서 들리는 소리에 경악을 하고 마는데 그녀가 들은 건 죽어가는 여인의 비명 소리였다. 케마와 함께 비디오테입을 보던 안젤라가 발견한 것은 살인의 기록을 담은 영화였다. 안젤라는 화면 속의 여자가 사지가 잘려나가는 고통을 당하는 것을 보고 극도의 공포에 사로잡힌다. 테입속에 담겨진 여인의 살해장면. 케마는 화면의 상태를 보고 살인자의 카메라 모델을 알아내고 그 며칠 후, 안젤라는 학교에서 그 카메라를 가지고 있는 보스코라는 청년을 만난다. 그리고 그는 비디오에서 보았던 바네사의 친한 친구라는 것도 알게 된다. 그러나 살인자가 사용한 카메라는 몇 년 전 학교에서 몇대씩이나 구입했다는 것이 밝혀진다. 살해당한 교수 대신 안젤라의 논문을 지도하는 카스트로 교수. 그는 논문에 대해 논의하던 도중 보안 카메라에 잡힌 안젤라의 모습을 보여준다. 그녀가 테입을 훔치는 순간을 잡은 테입을. 카스트로는 그녀가 가져간 테입을 돌려줄 것을 요구하고 안젤라는 사력을 다해 도망친다. 안젤라는 자신이 그 테입에서 보았던 소녀와 같이 희생될지도 모른다는 사실에 치를 떠는데...

돈과 낸시는 그 동안 소홀했던 관계를 회복하기 위해 휴가 여행을 떠난다. 하지만 차 안에서도 말싸움을 하면서 냉랭한 분위기가 흐르고, 갑자기 달려든 차로 인해 둘이 탄 차가 고장이 나게 된다. 늦은 시간, 인적이 드문 낯선 길에서 둘은 오도가도 못하고 당황해 하는데 우연히 경찰차를 만난다. 경찰차에서 나온 보안관은 시간이 늦어 렌터카를 부를 수 없다며 가까운 모텔에서 하룻밤 묵다 갈 것을 권하고, 그들은 어쩔 수 없이 보안관을 따라간다. 모텔에 들어간 그들은 방에서 핏자국을 발견하고 안 좋은 기운을 느끼지만 피곤에 지쳐 신경 쓰지 않기로 한다. 하지만 옆 방이 너무 시끄러워 조용히 해줄 것을 부탁하러 간 돈은 창문을 통해 여자들을 벌거벗기고 끔찍한 살인을 저지르는 현장을 목격하고, 자신들마저 공포스럽고 끔찍한 죽음의 게임에 들어온 것을 알게 되는데……

After being released from prison, a young gangster with a chip on his shoulder decides to punish society by making snuff films.

In 2009, the small town of Cohasset, Massachusetts was rocked with tragedy. A 17-year-old high school senior named Collin Mason murdered three classmates. All the murders were videotaped and uploaded to the Internet via bit torrent sites and for three days, the world viewed the murders of these three innocent teens. Through legal action, the parents of the victims were able to remove all footage from the Internet and the town tried to save face by pretending it never happened. Bootleg copies of this footage are still passed around and downloaded through illegal means. The impact of this video is still being felt in Cohasset today. The video has become infamous, and is now referred to as The Cohasset Snuff Film.

Flares of color break into streams of light, leaves, wood grain and prism-etched vegetation. A moon lifts out of this dark weave to be replaced by autumn leaves against a grainy sky, a fiery sky. A gray cat licks itself. A black cat sits quickly down on a green lawn. A "night" of showering dark, a "dawn" of pinks and yellows of plant growth in close-up. A gentle yellow "high noon" prevails into which the orange worm appears and reappears, twisting, arching, turning. A phosphorescent orange of leaves explodes midst greens and black holes appropriate to the image of the worm. The forms of many varieties of leafage mix with a veritable rain or clash of overall tones, a fire of forms, a glowing color photo-negative of worm, and the final canopies of autumn tone and sky tone permeated by sun, sun streaks and octagonal prism shapes ad infinitum.

The final Duplicity film does seem at resolve with the term. All previous visual manifestations have been extended to their limits, through four-roll superimpositions. Obvious costumes and masks. Drama as an ultimate bid for truth, and totemic recognition of human and animal life-on-earth dominate all the evasions a duplicity otherwise affords.

A science fiction story about a young boy who discovers and befriends a small robot at a shopping arcade. The robot is hungry and he grows in size as he devours a number of machines of increasing size.

Our hero is Umbi (an acronym for emissary of the bishop), sent by him to undertake an important investigation at Snæfell-glacier. In particular he is to look into the conduct and behavior of Jón Prímus, the old pastor at Snæfell. Fantastic rumors are rife: amongst other things it is said that a corpse is lodged in the glacier! Armed with his tape recorder and notebook, Umbi embarks upon his mission. He tries to question the weird locals, a weird lot, but gets evasive answers. Slowly he is dragged into a quagmire of strange happenings and his efforts to understand only make him confused. If at the beginning he is a chipper, a mere device, by the end of the story he is inextricably involved, a committed participant in the bizarre events.

In winter the rail-switches on streetcar tracks in Winnipeg froze and jammed with freezing mud and snow. Keeping them clean, whatever the weather, was the job of the switchman.
