브룩클린은 뉴욕에서 가장 많은 인구와 가장 오랜 역사를 자랑하는 도시로써 뉴욕인들의 향수를 자극하는 곳이다. 비니(빅터 아르고)는 그 곳에서 19년째 담배 가게를 해왔는데 이제 별로 돈벌이가 되지 않는 가게를 부동산 업자에게 팔기로 결심한다. 그런데 오랜 세월 동안 가게를 지켜온 오기(하비 카이틀)는 비니에게 담배 가게는 브룩클린 사람들의 정신적 쉼터와 같다며 가게를 닫지 말 것을 부탁한다. 오랜 고민과 갈등 끝에 비니는 결국 가게를 닫지 않기로 결정한다. 이에 따라 가게는 다시 브룩클린 사람들의 추억을 만들어가는 장소가 된다. Boris Morev dreams of money and power, he’ll do everything to reach the top, including leaving his beloved Irina, to marry the daughter of the local tobacco factory owner. With the death of his father-in-law and the illness of his wife, Morev becomes the new owner of "Nicotiana" and rules with an iron fist, resulting in massive labour strikes and murder. He ropes Irina back into his life, first as a mistress and later as his second wife, but his ambitions still come first as he plans on emerging as the biggest tobacco seller once the war is over. Irina’s love for Boris is fading and she finds a lover in one of the Germans Boris is trying to strike a deal with. Set against the backdrop of World War II and communist partisans fighting against the Nazi-allied Bulgarian monarchy, the film is a screen adaptation of the Bulgarian classic novel "Tobacco" released in 1954.

This movie is about the story of Luis "Chavit" Singson (born 1941), a Philippine politician, and the Governor of the Ilocos Sur province in the Philippines. Singson started EDSA II in October 2000 when he alleged he gave Philippine President Joseph Estrada 400 million pesos as payoff from illegal gambling profits.

경제적으로 쪼들리던 소설가 토니는 아내와 뉴욕을 떠나 고향 농장으로 간다. 이웃의 폴라드인 얀 노박이 토니의 농장을 원하고, 농장을 팔아 돈이 생기자 아내는 뉴욕으로 가버린다. 한편, 노박 가족에게 흥미가 생긴 토니는 그들을 소재로 글을 쓰려고 고향에 남는데, 그는 얀의 딸 마냐와 사랑에 빠지고 만다. 비극적 결말이 예견되지만, 허락 받지 못할 사랑에 대한 색다른 시선을 담았다. 한때 ‘제2의 그레타 가르보, 마를렌 디트리히’라 불리며 기대를 모았으나 아쉽게도 할리우드에 정착하지 못했던 러시아 출신의 안나 스텐이 풍부한 잠재성을 보여준 작품이기도 하다.

This is the visual accompaniment to the album of the same name, released a year prior to said album, both created by the recording artist known as Tobacco. The DVD was comprised of collected footage from various television shows, music videos, and commercials from the 70's and 80's. Most of the movie featured exercise videos and wrestling videos that have been cut and edited. It was never released to the public who exactly Beta Carnage is, or how much work was done by either him or Tobacco.

Here, intoxication dangers and health risks linked to cigarettes are blissfully ignored, and non-smokers are unwelcome. A humorous invitation for young people not to start smoking, or if they have, to relinquish the hazardous habit.

Uncompromising, often brutal group therapy sessions are designed to shake loose the excuses a victim makes for himself. The people and situations shown are authentic; only one actor was employed. The results obtained at Daytop are regarded by some psychiatrists as a breakthrough.
